The duke and duchess of Cambridge got a taste of the Hollywood world with a night at the BAFTA Brit Awards yesterday. Kate was beautiful in an Alexander McQueen gown.
William and Kate's North American Tour is now over, and as they are going back to their home in England, here is a look at the outfits Kate wore during the last few days spent in Canada as well as the two final days spent in Los Angeles. Always looking lovely and elegant, Kate kept it simple and appropriate through the entire trip, generally with plain dresses. That was certainly a great choice, as Kate appeared to be an authentic and easy to approach Duchess. A perfect combination for her first contacts with Canada and the United States. Although, this wasn't only appearances, since William and Kate truly tried to talk to as many people as they could, showing to the population that they care about them. In my opinion, the entire trip was a great success. Do you agree?

Kate didn't wear dress for the entire trip. Indeed, on the right, for the Calgary Stampede, she put on a rodeo shirt by Temperer and a pair of jeans to be part of the crowd.
Always wearing the perfect outfit for each event, Kate wore a red dress by Catherine Walker while saying goodbye to Canada.
For the last day of the trip, Kate chose a navy blue and white outfit, two colors that she wore a lot through the entire trip. And, two colors of the United States flag as well :)
